The World Cosplay Summit (WCS) is one of the most prestigious cosplay events in the world. Established in 2003 and held annually in Nagoya, Japan, it brings together top international cosplayers in a duo competition that celebrates the art of stage performance and costume design.

Each participating country organizes its own selection process to evaluate costume accuracy, stage presentation, and overall performance. More than 44 countries around the world host their own qualifiers and send their best cosplayers each year to compete at one of the world’s largest cosplay events.

Morocco is among the countries hosting the official World Cosplay Summit (WCS) qualifiers. The winning duo will represent the Kingdom at the global final in Japan. This initiative marks a major milestone in the international development of the Moroccan cosplay scene. The World Final will take place in August 2026 in Nagoya, Japan.
